José Guadalupe Posada (1851–1913) was a Mexican illustrator whose work has come to define his country during the era he lived in. This is a spot illustration from one of the many broadsides (news sheets) he illustrated for publisher Antonio Vanegas Arroyo, blown up to almost three-feet high and reproduced as a silkscreen print.
